How do you water it? Does it have a filtration system? I wouldn't have thought most plants could tolerate much salinity, outside of saltbush or something but even that probably won't like growing in ocean water.

Most plants get too much sunlight in Australia anyway, it's common to need to shade a lot of plants to prevent them being baked in summer. Usually we use some translucent plastic or something to cut down on the sunlight getting through. We also need to be careful when we water things to prevent them being boiled.

It takes about 5 minutes to learn though you'll fuck up a few times until it becomes a habit, you're only swimming at 5M anyway so it's not a big deal if you fuck up.
Fins are awesome, way better than without, though they're not really mandatory, they give you much more thrust. Why wouldn't you wear them?
