Shroom Hunting

I am going on a little trip to hopefully
find and collect some shrooms.
I am an Ausfag (specifically W.A) so its winter here at the moment.
Any tips/previous experience?
If there is a better board for this pls tell me

OP, the board you are looking for is shroomery.org Lurk there for a bit and you'll find out everything you need.

But please, please get your finds confirmed before considering eating. Ideally hunt with someone who knows what they're looking for already, but I understand that's not always possible

I love mushroom hunting! An area of the woods near my house gives me chanterelles, boletes, oyster mushrooms, morels, lion's mane mushrooms, and indigo milk caps

And that's just the edibles. Every time it rains I go out and see absolute tons of all sorts.
