Hey sk/out/s I'm looking for a 4 season, two person pack packing tent. Preferably in the poorfag price range but wouldn't mind higher quality/priced suggestions as well.

Not trying to be mean, but pick one. Seriously, four season tents are for hardcore skiers/mountaineers, they are expensive.

Yeah 4 season tents are pretty expensive generally. Quite specialised too in some respects, as you generally wouldn't want to be lugging the extra weight up a hill in summer unless you had to.

However, they can be picked up cheap second hand. I got pic related for £50 and it's a fucking bomn shelter, and only 4kg (yes that's actually half decent for what it is).

So look out for anythign 4 pole geodesic (terra nova quasar style) or perhaps some of the better made 3 pole designs and hope you get lucky.

Beautiful pictures of /out/ tents as in pic related. When i am feeling down/sad because of being innacity so much i just browse through this map and picture myself there and it lifts up my spirits

I'm partial to Mountain Hardwear. Just wait for their previous season tents to go on sale. My current backpacking tent is the Archer 2.

dood check out the Eureka Timberline. Inexpensive, could be used 4 season, classic, easy to set up. Not the lightest out there but a great tent nonetheless.
