I wish I could help, but the day is very far distant in which I may have to deal with a wife.

Either find a way to make the experience pleasant for her, choose to do another activity together or go on your own.

Start slow. Do small day trips, and one or two night trips first. Learn the limits of your wife, get her used slowly to bigger tours. Ask her what she liked and what she didn't like.

Pick a tour that you can do both comfortably. Plan it together with her, involve her in decisions like what tent to bring, how much comfort you want, and so on.

15 days will be way too stressful for your wife. It's stressful even for people who hike often.

Start off with 1 night. Get her used to being outdoors.

Move on to 3 days. Spread these trips apart so they're pleasant and she looks forward to them

Try 1 week and see if she can handle it.

If she cannot, some people are just not made to be outdoors, sadly.

If she can handle it, slowly stay out longer and longer.

Most girls need their significant other to flaunt them around as their trophy and show how proud they are to be in the presence of such a beautiful female (and take pictures to post online for "friends" to look at how beautiful they are and how awesome their life is)

That being said, realistic women understand that credit card traveling costs and is NOT as fulfilling as going outdoors and seeing/experiencing things that cannot be bought at a restaurant/movie theater/opera/etc (although good times can still be had at those, money is not the only way to have a good time)

There are far more girls in this world than women nowadays (same could be said for men vs manchildren); she probably has daddy issues and wants this attention because she did not receive enough from her parents as a child

She obviously wouldn't be happy camping. You can't fault her for it, some people aren't meant for the outdoors and I'm sure you were aware of this before you married her.

If I were you I would just find someone who enjoys camping and take them out and leave your wife at home. It would be very unhappy for you and your wife to go together, she wouldn't enjoy it and you wouldn't enjoy her complaining.

Idk how anyone who genuinely enjoys the outdoors could marry someone who didn't unless said spouse was entirely fine with their other leaving for the outdoors for weeks at a time.

she enjoys camping in the pouring rain in the middle of fucking nowhere, she loves chunking my mackerels for bait, she totally enjoys outfishing me when it comes to trout, she loves spending time outside even when the moskeeters are going ape shit. she fishes for sculpins, even though they can literally kill you. she smokes a mean shad, and cooks and awesome american eel. she enjoys her solitude, and she doesn't lust after luxury, infact she enjoys survivalism and partaking in my adventures.

and that pic was from before i had a filter. problem has since been solved. (except when i go places that don't have a water source, like i did over the 4th-then it's back to hauling it in wholesale)
