I am going to my first winter camping next winter with my two friends.We live in Finland and it get max -20°c at night.We have cheap market tent and Im planning to put a 3-season sleeping bag inside other bag and sleeping whit jacket on.
Post some good advices what we have to keep in mind and stuff

I'd add a solar tarp beneath you and maybe put a emergency blanket on the ceiling of the tent to help keep heat inside. I'd take an inflatable mattress pad so you're not on the ground.

Keep a campfire going if possible.

dont worry about the tent, you'd be surprised how much a 3 season tent can hold before collapsing from wind or snow. a good pitching is crucial in this scenario

if you're not going to camp at high altitude, or conditions wont be too extreme, a 4 season tent, or hell, a expedition tent wont be as much different as a cheap 3 season tent, warmth wise.

as for your sleeping bag idea, if you fit too snug while on it, i wouldn't recommend that setup. keep in mind if your body doesn't breathe well, you will produce condensation, which is a total nightmare in winter camping. consider getting a synthetic sleeping bag, which it will keep you warm even if its completely damp, unlike down filling.

a good & cheap sleeping bag i've used in various andean summits and antarctic expeditions is marmot trestles 0, although it's a pain in the ass to carry such a bulky bag

Depending on the type of sleeping bag, sometimes less clothing is better so do your research. A huge problem you will encounter is dealing with sweat. Change often as already stated. Hot food is a moral booster. Im not sure if you were already planning on that, most of my winter out door experiences I didnt have the opportunity for warm food but when i did it made a huge difference. Get a GOOD iso mat aswell. If toy dont have one, you can improvise but dont screw yourself seriously the sleeping system means nothing without that. Bring thermals or a poly pro type clothing. Layers is key is colder environments. I like to have poly pro on during the day if my activities are lazy so no sweat. Then have my clothes on over that, so when i go to bed I take off everything but the poly pro, I use my blouse as my pillow and my trousers I leave in my bag. Wear a beanie, your head loses a significant amount of your body heat. Good call with the batteries keep those as warm as possible for obvious reasons. Bring TWO sets of gloves. Once that first one gets wet youll be screwed unless you have a back up set. Bring 1000000 socks. Then ten more. Also GOOD water proof boots.
