Weight wise it isn't too bad? My only gripe was that there's no vestibule. Is it roomy enough to fit your ruck n' shoes?

It's a bit of a tight fit but I'm 5'7" 135 so I can make it work. Weight is about 3.5 pounds iirc, barely anything.

I have an ozark tent for car camping and it's fine. It won't last long, but its fine for something cheap.

also kinda funny that they market some of their tents as "backpacking" and yet its like 10 pounds

Most low to medium end tents and rain flys i've ever used required a treatment with waterproofing spray sealant to really be waterproof in a good rain.
without it, it will keep you dry for the most part, but the rainfly or tent itself may become soaked

You have to call to place an order though. And Their offices closed at 5pm EST, so you'll have to call first thing tomorrow. It only took me 4 tries to get someone. Some people on Facebook had to try 40-50 times.
