Hanging out around a fire next to a lean-to shelter on the AT with some people we just met, trading stories. One guy gave me a beer in exchange for a tylenol. We all sat around, cooking our food and talking till it was like 11pm. The stars were unbelievably bright out that night too so me and a few others climbed on top of the lean-to and just watched them for a while.

Some people say the AT may not be as hardcore innawoods, but goddamn if it isn't one of the best trails to hike for the experiences
