If you have a griptilian, you could get by with the mini only, the tiny knives can be mostly used for the same applications as an awl, unless you're punching holes in leather, and then you want a stitching awl.
I carry a multi in addition to my blades, since I don't want to get food on my tools or visa versa. My suggestion would be: mini griptilian for general heavy/dirty cutting, swiss champ mini for fine work, and opinel no 6 for food prep. A well honed Opinel slices paper thin tomato slices, and it's hard to think of any food prep task that would require any better.
