average I would put at 200$ a day. I was hitting 300$ a day though, along with a lot of the crew.
The season starts in May ad lasts for 2 months. (untill all the trees are planted) this season we planted 3.2 million. There are other contracts in other places and companies, so if you choose, and if you are a skilled planter, you can plant for 6 months out of the year.
Anyone can apply. as far as equipment is concerned the essentials are steel toes, hi-vis,hard hat. a GOOD tent. knifes and bear mace are a good idea. crew bosses carry shot guns. Ive seen bears walk off with peoples backpacks but no attacks. Shovels and Bags are usually sold at the start of the contract by your employer and deducted from your pay
