And wat? Sleeping pad? Quick dry clothes? STOVE? None of these are needed and honestly they add up weight and uneeded costs.
As far as I'm concerned the most expensive item should be shoes or boots. Used get you by but that should be the first upgrade. If you go for leather boots grab some boot oil if they're leather, should only be about 10 bucks. AND TAKE CARE OF THEM. Mine are going on five years.
And food should not cost so much. Instant pancake mix, powdered milk, cheat meat and cheese isn't $130...
