Hatchets

No.559391 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hey /out/, I've been looking to get more into camping and general "survival", because I've always had an interest but grew up with an overprotective family in a boring suburb. Upon initial research into what products are the best, I was faced with tons of YouTube reviews that were obviously being paid money to "review" a product and give it a 10/10. Everywhere I turned it was either Bear Grylls Gerber tools, or Schrade. I'm just going to assuming anything with "Bear Grylls" written on it is worthless shit, but is Schrade really what it's cracked up to me? Is their hatchet worth buying? If not, what would be the best place to turn for a good quality hatchet, with a low enough price that I don't feel like I'm blowing my life savings on what might end up being a short-lived hobby.

TL:DR is Schrade hatchet worth it, if not what is a good entry level hatchet under 50$
