>>561830what this guy said
>>561881got a good coop with hay for them at night. they hatch a lot less though.
>>561906said earlier, but im a graphic designer and i also give english lessons and do odd jobs if they arise. my internet access isnt great compared to big cities, 2MB basically, but it does the job and i can even stream netflix. we have no TV service so internet is pretty much our source of news and home entertainment.
>>561907i dont really need help, but we always welcome people. my wife is english speaking and our kids are bilingual so its always a pleasure to host foreign people. we actually are thiking of opening a bed and breakfast in the future ...
>>561972thanks ! like i said i own the house so no credits. we have a 25 years peugeot and a 15 years old citroen which are maintained for cheap by a local garage. we actually manage to save money when both me and my wife work well on good months (she's freelance too). we do not depend on government welfare, eventhough we do get a bit of money for the kids like everyone else in France.
i would say on a normal month without incidents, long travels, and with minimum shopping, we could run on as little as 400€, maybe even less. that would be just groceries and gaz.
garden doesnt cost me a penny. i harvest and use my own seeds. i buy my tools at garage sales and make my own handles. wood is free, but does cost a bit fin gaz for the car and chainsaw. internet bill is low, electricity is around 1k / year. im a little tight for taxes sometimes depending on the month but so far have always been ok.
i do 90% of repairs at the house myself. taught myself most of it and old houses are surprisingly simple in conception.
i actually have a little stash saved in a bank account that i keep in case of rough times that i never had to use so far.
