Anyone familiar with the Adirondacks? I'm going in a month or so during summer break from Toronto. I dont have much hiking or camping experience but really excited to give it a try.

Can someone school me on the basics of the Adirondacks, the layout, the things to do, stops along the way, things to look out for?
