to change our current ways you'd need to assasinate practically every political and financial figurehead, all the people behind them, the russian oil giants etc then you could pave the way for renewable energy and a non corrupt political system.
but you'd lose all the things that make first world countries better than other countries, cheap labour wouldnt exist if you made everyones economies equal, making everything more expensive, third world countries would have a nuclear bomb level of popultion explosion, due to having new found resources,no education and a lack of understanding why having 10 kids is now a bad idea.

there will always be winners and losers, people who are rich, people who are poor, people who live people who die etc
think about it, modern technology has connected each other globally, so we all have a sense of responsibility towards each other, but go back about 400 years and nobody gave a shit about other people in other countries because nobody knew they existed really, sure they might have heafrd of the country but most would never see it
