>>563528Depends how long the trip is, what time of year, and who I travel with.
All winter trip, trips 4+ days, or traveling with someone who wants to cook:
Instant oatmeal or dehydrated soup (instant rice, dehydrated vegetables, spice) for breakfast.
Lunch is always snacks. I never cook lunch.
Usually packaged dehydrated meal or ramen for supper.
Spring/Summer/Fall 4 or less days, solo:
Snacks all day erry day. (Pemmican, beef jerky, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, nut butter, candy, cookies)
When I did a 12 day glacier trip in Alaska we ate a bigger variety of more homestyle food (bagels with bacon, pasta, sausage, cheese, soups, etc) because things stay fresh longer when you're on ice all the time, and big groups usually can cook differently than small groups / solo.
