Cooke City's a neat little town. I want to ride there in the winter someday.

Bring camera, extra batteries, and plenty of memory cards. Phone service is real spotty, airplane mode will greatly extend phone battery life.
>>565521Basically this. It's a tourist destination. If you're into camping/backpacking/moto/whatever, there's a TON of places outside the park to do that without all the people. You can see most of the cool stuff in the park in a day. I wouldn't want to spend more than two there.
