>>566644well you probably will get sick of the heat and miss your native climate dearly. But not all of Arizona is a desert and you can go to places a couple hours drive away and find a temperate climate. But you will gain an appreciation for any type of weather and storm clouds will bring you joy and when it rains you will probably be outside enjoying the weather.
Moving to Arizona from the Midwest will probably something else.
The pros: well very sunny and more often than not you can get away with wearing shorts and a t shirt all day. Relatives that I know who live in phoenix only own sweaters and will get cold quick if it gets below like 70 degrees.
Also like I said theres nice places to go /out/ just bring lots of water. The sunsets and sunrise are stunning. Those are just the things off the top of my head. Pretty much its hot and sunny a lot with very little changes in climate and living in a big place like phoenix your gonna have to rely on AC because heatwaves kill people. Good Mexican food also. Great party town. So nice in the winter.
Cons: heatwaves kill people. It gets stupid hot like I mentioned. There can be shitty people here just like any other place like racist rednecks and stupid Mexican gangster. The barren landscape might make you depressed but I quite enjoy the desert. Also speaking of the desert, most things will poke or sting you. Youll probably run into rattlesnakes in the out of doors and find all kinds of bugs that will sting in your house. Monsoon season can cause property damage and will be a inconvenience to you.
Its cool you like the desert, just crank up that AC and wear some sunscreen.
