So I had surgery yesterday and now I pretty much can't do anything /out/ related for a while.
Any suggestions for things to do while innahouse, books to read, youtubers to watch, etc?

What happened? I just got out of my boot 3 months after ankle surgery. It sucked. Now I'm starting 6 weeks of physical therapy

Appendicitis out of fucking nowhere. I'm supposed to be on a Kayaking/camping trip right now. Can't even drive for the next few days.

well that timing sucks. did you get a full incision or did they do an endoscopy? i'm a poorcunt and had to get mine sliced out the cheap primitive way. it takes a lot longer to heal. i was laid-up for days. heal quick anon!

also how bad did your appendix hurt before you got it out? mine didn't hurt at all, it just tickled like crazy and i started getting a fever. it was weird... so i like to ask others what their experience was like.

It was weird. I walk into work ~8 feeling 100%, and by 10 I feel like mt guts are on fire. By midnight I couldn't walk without my abdomen feeling like it was on fire. Puking commences and I go home.
Next morning it still hurts just as bad, fever, and now it hurts to pee. A trip to the ER and a CT later and I'm in surgery. Apparently it was close to rupturing, I can't imagine how bad that would have felt.

Damn. See I had no real pain, just intolerable warmth and tingling. Mine was partially gangrenous when they got to it. That cab ride to the hospital was the worst.

Are you wheelchair bound or on crutches?

I'd recommend carving too. But also suggest sewing and leatherwork. Comes in super handy

If your in a wheelchair there might be handicap accessible trails depending on where you live

I'm not anymore. Spent two and a half years In that chair. Wasn't my first time in one either ha. And here's the kicker. It was just for a broken leg/hip. God bless osteopetrosis. Also. They can't keep the cast on for more then 6 weeks and if your being pushed around in a wheelchair but it's not immediately visible why your in it people will instantly asume somethings wrong with your brain. Gets old fast
