Where do you live? Btw those boots need no breaking in at all,
I have relatively narrow feet and they felt amazing from the first meters on.
The lacing is also incredibly smooth and doesn't produce any pressure points.
A little minus about them is the stiffness, great for climbing but not that much for walking down a trail.

And a question. Wouldn't a pot be a better thing to bring, so you can boil water and cook food inside it? (unless you are using instant meals, then the kettle would be just as good)

I got an Izula 2 a couple years ago because the longer handle appealed to me. But then I was like, "ehhhh I bet the regular Izula feels nice too", so I just got one.

Also, I like the TKC handles. A pricey add-on, considering the cost of the knife, but worth it.

There is the option of a virus filtering one, the .02 or something like that. Depends how innawoods you are - the regular one should handle just fine with non-manhandled, natural rivers that aren't getting sewage runoff. Viruses become a problem close to cities, or I guess if you're in bumfuck Africa or Australia where everything is trying to kill you.

Took this on plane the other day by accident. Was going home after being in the bush and forgot the dam thing in my backpack.

Very handy in most daily situations If you want a great small profile multi tool in your shirts front pocket. Good to have one of these as a backup survival tool.
