I am going on a 2 night solo trip, and I can't think of some fun things to do beside exploring, cooking, and attempting to hunt down an animal.

you can bring a book or two for evenings, bringing a camera can be also fun. Doesn't matter if it's shitty or not... enough effort in photoshop / lightroom etc. can yield you some fine photos without much effort

Set booby traps. I like the old pit full of sharpened sticks covered in leaves, but there's lots of ways to do it. Get creative.

Mind you, the normal knife(s) that you'll bring for cooking and utility might be tempting to use for carving, but their length creates a challenge.
