I want to buy my friend a machete or knife for his 21st so he can join in with my group when we go /out/ or dick around in the bush, but I don't know what type of blade to get him.
It's got to be;
>Durable. (As in we are going to throw it at shit)
>Good at chopping branches etc.

I've been looking at the Gerber Gator machete, but I've heard bad things about gerber so I'm on the fence.
What does /out/ recommend?
