One of my friends came home with terrible foot fungus or something from a different camp than I was with. That shit is NOT COOL, and your feet smell like rotten cheese. It was seriously fucking disgusting.
I had some luck and never been rained on too much (over 3 days+ etc) or been working in wet regions, but there are so many lakes and wet areas up north in Ontario that it's probably more likely you'll be in one than not. Not sure about the other provinces.

I would imagine you can move much more safely in things like that, even in Ontario locations rather than coastal. Not having to ever worry about slipping over branches or on wet moss rocks would be nice and you'd be able to move much more quickly with that safety, and thus make more money.
