The funny thing about our country is that if you try to tell anyone were the same as USA you will be met with a surprising (by Canadian standards) amount of aggression and hostility, especially by the baby boomer population (which, surprise, surprise, was raised up on said 60's media). It's so ridiculous when you consider how many USA stores, products, tv, movies, and general "culture" is in our faces every day. The only thing we have going for us is our Boreal forest and Territories. But the majority of Canadians are far removed from both those things.
