pitched a groundsheet as a rain cover over my bed..
set up a military metal frame + canvass bed.
so many stars out so i moved just my bed and sleeping bag out int a clearing.
watched shooting stars all night long and the odd owl silloette flying over-head.
was nerve-wrecking the 1st time i camped at night alone.
i go a couple of times a year.
i have a winter setup: popup tent, rain sheet, bivi bag, 500gsm mummy sleeping bag inner + 200gsm camo sleeping bag outer.
summer setup: camo sleeping bag, bivi bag, popup tent OR rainsheet tarp cover + parachord.
