>>574273WORK LOAD
varies from season to season, winter is supposedly really misserable and shitty though thats what im going to be reapplying for
>stocking season( spring) heavy lifting
gotta lift them fish manually up to the stocking trucks, not super heavy but you're loading 4 trucks a day with 1500-2k lbs of fish in it
and running
everyone is expected to run fish from the trucks to rivers lakes etc,
depending on your skill level epends on how much running you will be doing,
when my bosses boss was in charge he split up the runs evenly between the people,
but when my boss decided who was running it was who ever the driver wanted ( usually the younger guys )
beause of this out of the 3 new seasonals that were hired ( me being one of them )
i went on 22 runs and the other guys went on 3 and 7 respectively
some runs suck hard, others arent too bad, ,
its running a net of fish to the water and tossing it in , not rocket science but you need to be quick
throwing fish is an art that takes a bit to be learned
if runs are long you get to do relays ( possiby) it makes everything way easier
if you arent out running expect to be doing an number of things, from scrubbing ponds, to repair work with wood or cement, to staging fish for the next day and feeding fish
SUMMER
summer is maitncence, mow grass, weedwack, clear and haul brush, pick dead fish, feed fish , and repair work and projects
its a bit more relaxed than stocking season where you're expected to be suited up in waders by 7:10 and then go load 8k lbs of fish
then either go out to unload all those fish or go scrub ponds etc
