Careful with private land though. A lot of dudes who own large forested lands can be pretty protective. Not sure what the castle laws are in your area either. I heard rumors of farmers near me (Michigan) being authorized to shoot on site if its between certain times of night due to people picking shrooms from their cattle shit. Slightly different scenario and I'm not sure if there is any truth to it.
