I have a wetterlings forester’s fine axe that I've used for about 2-3 years. Its an amazing axe and use it alot at home and camping. it's nice for medium work, taking down or limbing small trees but light enough head you can use it like a hatchet for splitting up kindling small. i rarely if ever have to use my knife for fire prep. I've never used a gransfors and was highly considering them but nothing in my area was available, and I needed one, did not regret.
