I want a light tent for backpacking and camping out in the wild, but I can't afford to buy something just to try it out. I'm pretty sure I want either a Banshee or Zenith tent, but I'm having trouble deciding.
The Banshee seems more popular and I've seen it recommended several times, but is slightly heavier and only available as a 2 man or bigger. I just want it for myself, but would consider "2 man" since it really means 1 man plus a few bits.
The Banshee 200 (smallest model) is 2.35kg, but the Zenith 200 is 2.12kg and the Zenith 100 is only 1.75kg, so if I got a Zenith I could potentially save 600g. The problem is I can't find the kind of recommendations for the Zenith that I can find for the Banshee, and like I said, I can't really afford to take a chance.
Can anyone reliably tell me the Zenith is awesome, or the Banshee is worth the extra weight?
