I saw a few of these guys hanging out when I was diving once. It was pretty awesome.

And some bighorn sheep on family land in southern california. That was awesome as well. Fuckers were really big.

Found these in NM in a small lake. The shore was really thick with them in some spots. These guys were just chilling between some rocks...no idea why. They didn't mind being touched.

Used to see these on my way to work during an assignment in Western Australia.

Not a big deal if you live in that part of the world like, but was a real novelty for me. Huntsman spiders and kangaroos pretty neat too.

I used to see the tan-coloured variation on the walk to highscool (on the east coast) on occasion.

One time, my 13yo younger brother grabbed the tail of a ~metre long goanna and it pulled him up a tree.

I saw one of these snorkeling, it was gliding right above the sand, I freaked out after it started swimming upwards towards me though, still pretty awesome.

I've seen boar, moose, beaver in my life, a fox in wednesday (chased it a little with my dog). I have never seen wolfs or bears, but I've seen what they left of the carcass.
The most terrifying was venomous viper, I literally panicked.
