>>580008>but men and women shouldn't have to answer to anyone but themselves. I'm tired and probably not making sense, but that's what I believe. But that's counter to one of humanities greatest biological advantages, the ability to organize in to communities. We're social creatures, we do best in groups.
I used to be really stuck on that lone-wolf philosophy too, but then I really spent some time learning about people, myself and history and realized that A) my discomfort around other people was actually a discomfort with myself and B) being a part of a community only diminishes you as an individual if you have a weak sense of self.
I feel like a much happier person now. I've stopped dwelling on the negative so much, and started seeking out people who actively support each other rather than focus solely on their own needs. That was a big part of the problem, I felt like people couldn't be trusted because I was primarily associating with unreliable and untrustworthy people. Once I stopped associating with those kinds of people, my life outlook improved greatly.
That being said, I'm about to quit my 9-5 job and be van-dwelling hiker trash for the next year or so, so I'm not a complete normie.
I'm sure someone will come along and call me a fag or cuck or something, but I don't really care. I enjoy life a lot more now.
