Thoughts?
TLDR:
>David Paulides
>former cop and tech executive
>documents disappearances and/or unwitnessed kidnappings in national parks
>only writes on unsolved cases (bodies never found or cause of death unknown)
Key findings/trends are:
>National park service/DPT of Interior has 0 written records of missing persons
>children, elderly and disabled at most risk
>bodies (when found) moved extreme distances, often far beyond what one would thing the victim could travel
>areas with boulders and areas near water are hotspots
>bad weather often hampers recuse efforts
>berry pickers susceptible
>victims do not seem to have been attacked by any apex predators
I think it's inordinately creepy but I'm also open to the idea that I'm sheltered and these kinds of things are to be expected.
