>>580172yo. i picked up the new version of this years ago, and i can honestly say, that i thought it was gonna be shit. usually, when something has a lifetime warranty, i put it through every retarded stress test i can think of.... i cut down brush, baton it, ran it over, hacked living trees, dead trees, sticks, meat, etc, and i could NOT destroy this thing, hell, i could barely do anything to it at all.
here's what you gotta do to make it better though, take off that stupid fucking lanyard, remove the shitty hollow grind and replace it with a convex one. all in all, i use it as a hevy meat cutting tool and food prep blade for stews and such when out innawoods.
one of my main issues with this parang, is that it has that goddamned dovetail shit going on with the grip and that makes people who use a pinch grip have major hotspots.... problem is that the two bolts or screws or whatever on mine just will not come out and i cant change the handle out. oh and that it has bears name on it is really stupid but does not in any way affect the functionality of the blade at all.
