>>582828That is great advice to get your ass arrested. I'm a gun owner myself, not some hopolophobe, but even in my home state, with a ccw, all it takes is one over-zealous cop or soccer mom to cause you a whole world of aggravation. Now what happens when you cross state lines? What happens when you accidentally commit a crime like trespassing, or hitchhiking too close to the interstate? You get stopped, and now those minor offenses just became a huge deal because you commited them while armed. Better hope you don't pass within 500 yards of a school while armed, or pass on to certain state land like wildlife refuges. Or your shirt rides up and someone sees the exposed butt of your weapon. Congrats, now you just committed "open carry" or even, if the cop wants to really be an ass, "brandishing" which is quite illegal in quite a few places.
Maybe you'll get out of it, most likely you won't, but even if you do, as the saying goes "You can beat the rap but not the ride." Enjoy your strip search, incarceration, trials, and al lthe headaches caused with missed work, health complications caused by "resisting arrest" legal fees, and all that good stuff.
