I have Reebok zig zags and they have great grip, high speed and comfortable as fuck. They should be around 60 dollars or so.

Brooks. The same shoes I run around the city in. Not a major fan of trail running shoes, because the grip tends to be more knobby.

Which is great for mud and sand leaf litter, but terrible for a slippery wet rock.

Don't over think it. Its just running. Just do it in whatever.
