A camper or RV in a campground is perfectly legal.
A buddy of mine here in Michigan had a 32' double slide-out camper which he keeps all season long (May-Oct) in the campground and one of his neighbors are a couple who are both paramedics and work for the county while living in their camper for 6 months during the summer, then they tow it down to Florida, where they work for the county as paramedics and live in the camper throughout the winter months.
