ATV Tour Guide, active hiker, all 7.5' series maps from East Pocket to the Camp Verde saltmine, hiked the length and breadth of Sycamore, Woods, Oak Creek, Secret, HS, Wilson Canyons and even Bear Sign Canyons, lived in Oak Creek West Sedona, Village of Oak Creek and Oak Creek Valley Estates, driven all over from "here to there and Hell and gone" and I have never, ever seen a black bear or puma/cougar/mountain lion.
Not once.
Did take g/f to the back of Bear Sign Canyon once and she asked:
