I just take pics on every hike and put them in their own folders on my laptop. Usually I dont write things, but sometimes I add small journal text to folder.

My spreadsheet looks the same, I also keep a printed topo and notes from my hike (what I used/what I didn't use) weather condtions and other little notes of cool shit i saw. I have a small two drawer filing cabinet with one dedicated to hiking
