>>591124Yeah but those brands still put a shitload of synthetic in their "all leather" boots
http://www.meindl.de/deutsch/modelle/einstiege/zwiegenaehte_tech.htmlAnd i told you my current boot is something like that but still stinks.
What i want is a single layer leather or double layer leather with nothing in between kind of boot. Basically a combat boot that is lower and maybe lighter and doesn't cost a fortune, thats why i was thinking of dr martens, cause they have low models, they seem light, and i can get them pretty cheap. I'm not doing it wrong, as i said i have a lot of hiking experience with all kinds of hiking footwair and my feet keep smelling. I also have easy feet and don't get blisters and such easily, so the comfort isn't that important, i've used heavy combat boots before(with way less smelly feet) and the army does it too. And i wont wear them for everything, like i have a mountaineering boot i'll still use for mountaineering or winter trips, or trail runners for day trips. Its just a lot of my trips involve multiday hikes/camping/hitchiking/cities and this is where i think they might work for me.
So again, anybody has experience hiking with dr martens?
