>>586124Sounds like you jump to conclusions, trying to force things into models they don't fit. Idiots who think linearly think you can just double something and it will only take twice the effort to do so. That's why rednecks brag about their car going 140 because they think the difference between as car going 60 and 100 is the same as one going 100 and 140. In both cases the difference is 40 MPH but the difference is large in the number of cars able to go from 60 to 100 and those that can go from 100 to 140. Similarly /lit/ or whoever made the graph though they could just keep adding on IQ points continuously as if there was no reduction in rarity as one goes along the far ends of the bell curve's tail. Finding ANY subset of the population with an average IQ of 147 would be nearly impossible unless that subset itself is "people with IQs that average out to 147". Even brain surgeons and rocket scientists don't average IQs in that range.
Don't be such a try hard attempting to look smart by throwing things into a discussion aren't relevant. No one said anything about a histogram until you wanted a gold star for mentioning it. Sorry mommy and daddy didn't pat you on the head enough for your B- report cards. If you want to post random things unrelated to the discussion perhaps /b/ is the place for you.
