Hey /out/, mind teaching me some knots?

Picked up this pocket hammock earlier today, wondering how I can set it up properly. Came with the hammock, two ~5ft paracords, and two carbiners.

TBH if it's actual nylon paracord, I would replace it with stronger non-stretchy rope (polyester or even cheap yellow polypro) and get better biners.

The safe working load for 550 cord is 50-100lbs and you'll probably have more tension than that on your lines unless you're a skinny grill, also nylon is stretchy so the hammock sags with longer runs.

Round turn and two half hitches is another knot, for a hammock I'd do lots of turns around the tree if I had enough line.

Spend time on there tying them along with the animations. Tie them over and over again until you can do it without thinking about it.

You should learn some knots. That being said, This thing is awesome, lighter than hell, two of them fit in the stuff sack attached to my hammock and they make adjusting super easy. Plebmode, I know, but they rule.
