Hello guys,
I will be going to Macedonia/Hungary or somewhere in that area, where there are currently many migrants passing in large groups.
The goal is to interview them, make a documentary, basically find some truth between braindead leftists and racist supremacists.
I am wondering about the gear to take.
(1: CAMPING)
It is possible I will need to sleep with them outside. I have never camped before (cityfag, sorry), but I have lots of hitchhiking experience and lots of lightweight travels behind me. I have heard from a friend about hammocks, and with my limited knowledge this sounds like really cool thing to do, but I'm afraid it would be some tacticool omg-look-at-those-white-people autism among starving (?) refugees (?).
Given the weather in that part of Europe at the end of September, what sleeping bag etc should I take?
(2: BACKPACK)
Apart from that: I have several backpacks to choose from (I have too many).
–Boreas Buttermilks 40 in black
– Boreas Excelsior 30 in black
–Nike Net Prophet 2.0 in grey/orange color
I don't mention the colors because I care for looks, but I want to be as low-key as possible. (The nike bag is actually only grey when worn, orange are paddings, innards etc.)
Tbh fams, the nike one is the most comfortable (even tho it was 25€... smh the others were 150€ and 90€), but it lacks a hip belt. Will this be a problem?
(3: FOOTWEAR)
I except to walk all day, so I'll just take my regular shoes that I walk in every day –or should I buy boots? in case of rain.
(4: WATER)
I have a 3L plastic bladder with mouthpiece. Is this a good idea since I will be on the road the whole day or tacticool shit?
(5: CLOTHING)
I think I'll take 3 pairs of underwear + 3 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of pants (one worn), 3 shirts
Now my question: how prepared should i be for cold weather? should i take a jacket just in case, or should i pack two pullovers, or what?
PIC UNRELATED. DON'T TURN THIS INTO A >>>/pol/ THREAD.
