Pretty much just a bunch of people that don't like to work. Not that there's anything really wrong with that, work is gay. The ones that don't drink are harmless for the most part. As a group they really care about leaving the environment clean. They like to trip face in nature and be with friends. Pretty non-destructive bunch, they've got a unique culture around them too, they don't like to involve any government entities in their affairs.
It's a fun way to blur through life, going to gathering to gathering.
Most of those kids don't know shit about camping though. 90% show up without enough food/water for the 1-3 weeks. Bunch of immature assholes really but they're all kind and treat you like family.
It's great to spend that much time in the woods where literally every single person there is willing to spend time and talk to you, you can go to any fire and hang out anywhere.
