1) way overpriced for it's chopping capability a $10 hatchet would do a better job at most things
2) the handle is not very easy to make right it would be a good survival tool if you could make a handle for it with itself but i don't see how you could, also most wood in this configuration would not take much abuse. most you can do is split a handle and pry it apart and wedge the tool in, but that would not be a very strong and lasting handle
3) edge on some models is not strong enough it's full of weakenings i don't like it for hard chopping at all, shape of edge is not convincing t all
4) titanium tires out eventually and will fracture i wouldn't make an axe of it
other than that i fucking like the engineering behind it i especially like the simplistic version where you can use rope to secure it. feels very caveman and 21st century at the same time like we went a full circle in 10000 years.
