Burner fuel

No.601753 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
>Sufficient viscosity to require no sealing cap
>Sufficiently volatile to ignite without much preheating
>Burns with large hot flame well suited to heating a small pot of water
>Extinguishes safely when deprived of air
>Does not separate into layers when melted
>Food safe burn gases

Is there such a fuel I can make at home? By mixing alcohol and bee's wax, or paraffin and gasoline? Cotton balls? Lard?

I can make something that will burn in 2 minutes. But getting it to burn well while holding its shape when just warm might take me a few tests. And I bet somebody smarter than me already did much better research.

So where is it, guys?
