How do I learn /out/door survival skills?
More specifically how do I learn survival skills without internet or books?

Do I just follow my instincts and figure stuff out as I go along and experiment?

Circumstances has led me to go off-grid within 2 weeks or get tortured/killed. (Mostly debts with the wrong kind of organisations)

I am fucked either way, but I am just gonna roll life's dice and see what happens.
I got about 100 euros in my pocket and thats all money I have. I am being forced out of my apartment soon.

I dont need your pity, and I dont need your judgement. Just need practical tips.

don't go off grid. Best bet is to grow a beard, grow long hair (so the wrong kind of organisations don't recognise you) hitchike, look in bins for food, etc.

You can spend some of your time hunting, living in shelters, foraging, etc but if you have little experience then you will want to look in bins for food.

if was me:

100 euros could go far.....

buy LOTS of cheap tins of meat.
grab all your camping gear. spare clothes. hygene products.....
hide innawoods.
bury tinned meat in a bunch of locations. so you can go back to them and eat for a long time.
collect rain water with tarp shelter.
collect lots of bottles to fill with rain water.
put bottles of rain water with your stashes of tinned meat.
get a few knives for protection (better than nothing).
personally - i would have a DIY flame-thrower made from spray cans and lighters.

unfortunately, modern man has been dumbed down.
the vast majority of cases - nobody sticks together or sticks of for another.
there`s more people queing for the new I-Phone that there are at a Million Mask March Protest.

anyway, i`ve got LOTS of camping gear to go off-grid if needed.

teepee tent + popup tent + tarps
military camp bed - i sugest this for LOTS of comfort. collapsable metal frame and rolls up. a little heavy (couple of KG`s) but certainly worth it for long-term.
bivi bag ( good for sleeping under a tree with low branches (good for hiding whilst resting. fast packing incase need to GTFO).
500 GMS mummy shape sleeping bag
400 GMS camo sleeping bag
make up a fire-starting kit. even just boiling hot water to drink is a huge benifit in cold times.

consider making up a GOOD bag so you can get outta there fast.

basically - you can go innawoods where nobody will come looking for you.
and when you need to go back into town - go in the evening just after dark - less chance of being spotted.

it`s october. so if you`re serious about it. you`re gonna need fire wood.
you can simply collect lots of branches and twigs to make a small fire, but splitting logs can makea hot fire to keep you warm innawoods.

wellies (if you dont have boots already).
thermal socks (really cheap).
thinsulated hat
a cap
winter gloves

put as many clothes into rucksacks and luggage bags. then stash them.

use bin lineers to stash things into and hide them innawoods under thorn bushes.

I used to bring those with me while I was camping, they aren't ideal for OPs situation. I'd rather pile a bunch of moss into a bed shape, also acts as insulation.

if you're going to be on your feet a lot, buy a pair of Darn Toughs. Wool socks will save you a lot of suffering, and they're naturally antibacterial. They're expensive ($16/pair), but DT will replace them for free if you wear them out, no questions asked.

Shelter would be sleeping arrangements, protection form weather, not freezing/boiling to death, rain, etc. Bivy sack and decent tarp will do you good. Shovel(s) and knives/axes will go far. Having the ability to bake brick/clay will go farther for most needs. Fire requires ready fuel which only exists in deep woods or city trash(burning trash for fuel actually make economic sense/not pissing off neighbors/cops is another matter)
Water is another basic need/refillable jug of water/water fountains a must.Filters a given.
Food/know local law and loopholes for dumpster diving and good locations. Hunting/fishing requires licenses which CAN be cost effective. But all require fire to sanitize/cook. Or hours in a solar oven.

Best bet for you is several cheap sleeping bag liners, a couple euros in laundry money(backup storm/horrible weather protection money(generally only person in laundromat day/catch up on society/clean up day(s)) lots of decent weal wearable clothing/sewing kits/patches.
Decent, legal knives/guns/bows/crossbows, etc...
decent first aid kit self made/container/fire starters/ ember box/ entertainment*DND/BIBLE/Library card/year long gym membership)
cleaning products/phone number/etc for reentering society

Remember that none of this works if you are a constant medical patient ie diabetic/cancer/hiv/hep c patient(even the recent advances in hep c treatment will require checkups for potential flair ups)

having a comfy sleep is very important. saves back ache. AND if needed - you can use moss / fir branches for bedding.
