So in a year I'll be out in the woods and I won't be coming back. I need some woods that I can set up shop in and never once have to look at another person ever again. I'm sure it's there but where? I've spent weeks scanning google maps and there doesn't seem to be many habitable places left in the U.S. that don't have roads for miles, I need at least 20 miles away from all roads from every direction. So far the best I can find is the smoky mountains, but not much else at all.

Where are the most desolate forests in the U.S.? I'm kentucky blooded so I can't go to Alaska though I wish I could
