Totally fucking agree. Gear fags on this board are terrible. Working at an outdoors store kills my soul. So many people want to buy the stupidest shit that is totally unnesisary. Kinda off topic but in the same vein; hunters that insist on matching their camo. As if deer fucking care that your mossy oak pants don't match your real tree jacket.

I've camped for long periods in Snoqualmie on a couple of occasions, and have done some shorter trips up by Mt. Baker. Where were you chilin'?
