Hi /out/. This is my first time on this board and I'm asking how to make a proper camp fire at the beach. I buy the wood at a local gas station. It comes with about 6 thick pieces about 1.5 feet long. It also comes with two small think pieces in a separate package called "fire-starters". I'm just I also bring a little bit of newspaper with me sometimes. I'm just looking for the proper way of how to make a fire that lasts. Because the last time I tried to make a fire I put 5 of the thick logs in a tippee position and then lit the newspaper and it didn't last long. I had to keep adding paper.
