Last time I climbed a tree was when I was in college and the tree was in the courtyard of some dorms. Someone called the fucking campus police on us and I was arrested along with another guy who was also climbing trees. Charged with vandalism. Went before the student judicial council where we explained what had happened. Thankfully the council realized we weren't vandals and dropped the charges. When they asked for my side of the story I told them "I'm from the country, I've never heard of a tree that was illegal to climb"
