Some styles look like boots from pictures from victorian england women's fashion (which they wore on STREETS, not hiking) with the pinchy toes and all. I've seen people hiking in uggs. I've seen people hiking in flip flops. I saw, just this weekend, someone hiking up a mountain in pic related (or something similar). Mount Tammany in Delaware Water Gap, if anyone knows it. Several parts of the trail are rock scrambles. The one side is loose rock slope all the way down. And people tried to do it in fucking uggs and these things.
